Sebewaing is the home of the annual Sugar Festival which is sponsored by the Sebewaing Chamber of Commerce. Places of historical interest include the Luckhard Museum, Charles F. Liken House, Old Sebewaing Township Hall. Sebewaing is also well known for its Sugar Beet Industry (Since 1902) and Bay Shore Camp (Christian Camp & Retreat Facility).

Sebewaing is blessed with two campgrounds on the Sebewaing River. Sebewaing County Park located at 759 Union Street consists of 20 acres and offers 64 camping sites and is open from May 1 – October 15. Sebewaing River Campground is located on the north bank of the Sebewaing River, across from the Sebewaing Harbor Marina, which has 73 sites open from May 1 – September 30 and four cabins.
